if you have less then the legal drinking amount...?

Mel Crapo: doesn't matter.. if you're underage and caught they'll get you with underage and UTI or DIP (under the influence or drunk in public)what part of anything discussed here are people having trouble understanding.you violate the law.. it's simple.. you violate the law.there's a fine, i'm sure the parents will be the one's who will have to pay that.next time read up on your city ordinances and federal/state laws....Show more

Renato Abatiell: If you are under age and drink any alcohol beverage.Oh had to edit my answer .I you take in any alcohol beverage you are under the influence of alcohol You are breaking the law.No matters if it is 1/2 a glass or 1/2 a bottle. It is against the law if you are doing something that can effect other persons lives in an adverse way....Show more

Hipolito Rightmire: underage drinking is underage drinking, you get caught with a sip and your getting charged.

Fritz Sisomphou: If you're underage, the legal lim! it is zero. If you're caught, it's underage DUI. You pay your fine, maybe spend a short time in jail, and lose your license for a while. Your insurance rates will increase quite a bit, too.

Sunshine Holets: ahh i dont mean drinking age..i meant drinking limit

Patricia Dornbos: Under age drinking is a crime/charge in itself, you do not have to be legally drunk to be charged and face punishment. Most states have zero tolerance statutes regarding under age drinking.

Shawn Lelis: everyone has a different limit, mine might be 1, etc. So never trust what they say is average because that is for adults who are somewhat immune to how fast they get drunk

Derrick Smsith: In the state where I live there is no limit for underage drinking. Any amount in your system will get you arrested. Also, even those who are of legal drinking age can be arrested for DUI even if they are below the legal limit. The legal limit is just a guideline and if you are impaired at ! 1/2 the legal limit - you are still going to jail...
