How to transfer from a community college in California to a New York University?

answers 0:So I go to a community college in California , Orange County, and I am getting my AA degree in May this year, and next fall I want to transfer to a New York University. I dont know any good colleges or universities out there. My major is biology and I want to go to a dental school after that, hoping to be a dentist. I have quite a few questions so I will list them:1. What website or resources are out there to know which classes or credits will transfer from community college to New York Universities??2. What are some of the top schools for science majors such as mine, it can be either state college or university?3. I need to know the colleges or the universities that are close to New York, considering to commute with bus, walking, subway, etc? What are the requirements such as GPA, and how much will it cost me, because I will be! a non resident of New York??If it helps I have a GPA of 3.4. THanks to everyone in advance....Show moreanswers 1:With an AA, most schools don't look at your SAT or ACT scores. Each school has its own transfer policy and of course the number of transfers accepted depends greatly on number of slots available and also the competition for those slots. All the SUNYs and all the CUNYs are willing to look at your transfer application. This is where you need to do some work - go through each school's website and make some decisions on which schools look appealing to you.You definitely ought to consider SUNY-Brockport and also SUNY-Albany for their pre-dentistry programs as well as the excellence of their biology programs....answers 2:New York University Transfer
